Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provides direction and guidance to all units in the Marketing group and Pre-Sales group and monitors the budgets ensuring the effective / efficient use of Advertising / Media / Events & Sponsorships / Products / PR budgets.
● Monitors performance of direct reports against agreed list of deliverables and provides timely feedback and guidance.
● Monitors competitive activity and formulates necessary initiatives to counter competition.
● Reviews product or brand and identifies opportunities for growth or innovation.
● Oversees Advertising & Promotions group:
○ reviews advertising and media effectiveness
○ ensures the consistent communication of the brand across all customer contact points
○ formulates strategies and guidelines that will allow for more focused execution of advertising / media placements
○ evaluates initiatives to see effectiveness
○ approves promotional events / sponsorships
○ reviews the events / sponsorships mileage and effectiveness
○ formulates strategies and guidelines that will allow for more focused events and sponsorships and ultimately a more
consistent image / positioning
● Oversees Philteq Brand (Feedback of Client/Customer Relationship):
● participates in the review of products or brand and ensures continuous innovation and responsiveness to client needs
● Ensures the consistent delivery of products across all customer contact points and alignment
● Performs other duties as may be assigned by the superior
Qualifications:
● Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management or Business Management
● Proven experience (8 years) in a marketing managerial or senior role in the same industry (IT Products Distribution)
● Advanced Excel, Word & Powerpoint
● Trainings on Digital Marketing, Company Branding and Imagery, Events and Sponsorships Management, Project Management
